Heidi Hinder, Artist-Maker
Consult Hyperion, 20/09/2013
Heidi Hinder is an artist-maker whose work often draws on a previous career in film and television, by exploring the disparity between illusion and reality, and the value to be discovered in between. As a trained jeweller and silversmith, increasingly, Heidi incorporates smart technology into her wearable creations, in order to introduce a new dimension through design interactions. More traditional examples of Heidi's work can be enjoyed in the collections of The British Museum, Victoria and Albert Museum, Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery and The Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths.
